100 young people who are committed, passionate and determined to contribute to the success of the 6th International Marine Protected Areas Conference (IMPAC6).
This webinar marks an important milestone in their journey. It will provide an opportunity to outline the vision, objectives and opportunities offered by the volunteer programme, whilst deepening their understanding of the challenges associated with ocean conservation and the organisation of a major international event.
This meeting is an important preparatory step ahead of their departure for the Gaspé Peninsula. It will enable the young people to gain a better understanding of the context and challenges of IMPAC6, to learn about the role and responsibilities they will be entrusted with as ambassadors, and to discover the values that will guide their involvement.
Together, they will form a new generation of change-makers, committed to protecting the oceans, preserving marine biodiversity and promoting sustainable development.
